there are constantly movies, tv shows, etc... being filmed in new york. its no surprise that i run into some sets from time to time. I usually don't see anything (or anyone) too awesome and film sets in general don't interest me very much - but i thought this was funny. I guess to prevent having to print a set of "set" signs with arrows pointing either left or right, this was decided on as the solution. clever, indeed. i'd like to meet the badass intern who came up with this (cause you know its always the awesome interns who think of shit like this).
