222: street parade for.... Christ?

hopefully you can make out exactly what's going on in this picture. It's the view from my apt. of a crazy Good Friday / Easter parade going down Columbus Ave. It was way loud, complete with ladies singing and reading Spanish scripture through a megaphone and way obstructing my peace! I heard them coming from at least 5 blocks away and it seemed to last forever. I'm all about celebrating holidays, but I do believe that you should pick a venue and stick to it. No need to take your religious celebration to the streets, right??
