though its been dreary and gross, yesterday there were promising patches of blue. It wasn't the sunny day I think all of new york is wishing for, but it would do just fine for me. I took the opportunity without rain to walk a bit around my old college stomping grounds to enjoy the night and see a movie. Getting off the train, I looked up on this. I've never taken a picture of it because i didn't want to be that touristy person. But from the bottom, looking up, it really is a cool site. And this pic came out pretty awesome, if i may say so myself!

day 291: rain with a chance of blue skies
though its been dreary and gross, yesterday there were promising patches of blue. It wasn't the sunny day I think all of new york is wishing for, but it would do just fine for me. I took the opportunity without rain to walk a bit around my old college stomping grounds to enjoy the night and see a movie. Getting off the train, I looked up on this. I've never taken a picture of it because i didn't want to be that touristy person. But from the bottom, looking up, it really is a cool site.
